River Valley Psychological Services
The Facility offers both Contact and Non-Contact visitation.
The Contact Visitation area allows approved visitors to interact with the
juvenile. Attorneys, Law Enforcement Officers and service agency personnel may arrange to visit juveniles in a private visitation area.
The Non-Contact Visitation area allows for visits 
a secure environment.

If you have not yet been made aware of your child’s housing unit you can contact Case Manager Joseph Richardson at (815) 730-7070.
In addition to the normal visitation schedule, visitation will also be allowed from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on major holidays.
All visits must be conducted according to River Valley Detention Center Visitation Policies and Guidelines.
